Transport Job
Overview
Transport Job is the operational document that executes the transport order. This is the main working document for transport operations, containing all execution details and tracking job progress from start to completion.

- Transport Order: Link to source Transport Order
- Status: Draft, Submitted, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled (required)
- Priority: Low, Normal, High
- Customer: Customer reference (required)
- Booking Date: Date of booking (required)
- Customer Ref No: Customer reference number
Transport Details
- Transport Template: Template used for leg planning (required)
- Transport Job Type: Container, Non-Container, Special, Oversized, Multimodal, Heavy Haul
- Vehicle Type: Required vehicle type (required)
- Load Type: Type of cargo
- Container Type: Required if job type is Container
- Container No: Container number if applicable
- Hazardous: Hazardous cargo indicator
- Refrigeration: Refrigeration required indicator

- Packages: Child table with package details
- Copied from Transport Order
- Can be modified as needed
Leg Plan
- Legs: Child table with transport legs
- Links to top-level Transport Leg documents
- Shows leg summary information
Charges
- Charges: Child table with job charges
- Copied from Transport Order
- Can be modified as needed
SLA (Service Level Agreement)
- SLA Target Date: Target completion date/time
- SLA Status: On Track, At Risk, Breached, Not Applicable
- SLA Notes: Notes about SLA performance
Sustainability
- Total Distance (km): Total distance for all legs (read-only)
- Fuel Consumption (L): Estimated fuel consumption (read-only)
- Estimated Carbon Footprint (kg CO2e): Carbon emissions (read-only)
- Sustainability Notes: Notes about sustainability
Accounts
- Company: Company for accounting (required)
- Branch: Branch for accounting (required)
- Cost Center: Cost center for accounting (required)
- Profit Center: Profit center for accounting (required)
- Job Costing Number: Link to Job Costing Number
Status Flow
- Draft: Initial creation state
- Submitted: Job is submitted and ready for execution
- In Progress: Job execution has started
- Completed: Job is finished
- Cancelled: Job is cancelled
Workflow
Create Transport Job
- Create from submitted Transport Order
- System copies all details from order
- Review and update as needed
Plan Legs
- Use Transport Template to create legs
- Or manually create legs
- Each leg represents one pickup-to-delivery segment
Submit Transport Job
- Review all details
- Submit the job
- Job is ready for leg execution
Create Transport Legs
- System creates top-level Transport Leg documents
- Each leg is linked to the job
- Legs can be assigned to Run Sheets
Track Progress
- Monitor leg status
- Update job status as legs progress
- Track SLA performance
Complete Job
- All legs completed
- Update status to Completed
- Create Sales Invoice for billing
Creating from Transport Order
- Open submitted Transport Order
- Click "Create Transport Job" button
- System creates Transport Job with all order details
- Review and customize as needed
- Submit Transport Job
Field Mapping from Transport Order: - All header fields are copied - Packages are copied - Charges are copied - Legs are created as Transport Leg documents
Leg Management
Transport Legs are created from the job's leg plan:
- Legs are created as top-level Transport Leg documents
- Each leg is linked to the Transport Job
- Legs can be assigned to Run Sheets
- Leg status updates automatically update job status
SLA Tracking
Service Level Agreement tracking:
- SLA Target Date: Set target completion date/time
- SLA Status: Automatically calculated based on progress
- On Track: Job is on schedule
- At Risk: Job may miss deadline
- Breached: Job has missed deadline
- Not Applicable: No SLA defined
Sustainability Tracking
Automatic sustainability metrics:
- Total Distance: Sum of all leg distances
- Fuel Consumption: Estimated based on distance and vehicle type
- Carbon Footprint: Calculated based on distance, weight, and vehicle type
