Transport Plan

Overview

Transport Plan is a planning document that groups multiple Run Sheets for a specific date range. It helps transport planners organize and coordinate daily operations across multiple vehicles and drivers.

Key Fields

Basic Information

• Plan Date: Date of the transport plan
• Transport Planner: Employee responsible for planning
• Company: Company for the plan
• Branch: Branch for the plan

Run Sheets

• Run Sheets: Child table listing all run sheets in the plan
  • Run Sheet reference
  • Run date
  • Vehicle
  • Driver
  • Status

Workflow

1. Create Transport Plan

   • Create new Transport Plan
   • Set plan date
   • Assign transport planner

2. Add Run Sheets

   • Add Run Sheets to the plan
   • Run Sheets can be created from the plan
   • Or existing Run Sheets can be added

3. Review Plan

   • Review all run sheets in plan
   • Check vehicle and driver assignments
   • Verify route optimization

4. Submit Plan

   • Submit the plan
   • Plan is ready for execution
   • Run Sheets can be dispatched

5. Execute Plan

   • Dispatch individual Run Sheets
   • Track execution progress
   • Update plan as needed

• Forward Days in Transport Plan: How many days ahead to plan
• Backward Days in Transport Plan: How many days back to include
